The HSBC TravelOne Credit Card is aimed at travellers who collect airline miles. It earns 4 points per ₹100 on travel and foreign currency spends, converts them up to 1:1 into miles with airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways and British Airways, and gives 10 lounge visits a year with no spend condition.
How the rewards work
| Spend | Earn |
|---|---|
| Flights, travel bookings, foreign currency spends | 4 points per ₹100 |
| All other eligible spends | 2 points per ₹100 |
| Milestone: annual spends above ₹12 lakh | 10,000 bonus points |
Good to know: points convert instantly at up to 1:1 to airline partners including Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, British Airways, Air India and Etihad Airways. Airline miles often give the best value, but award prices vary, so compare before transferring.
What you would actually earn
Spend ₹30,000 a month on everyday purchases and ₹1.5 lakh a year on flights and foreign spends, and you earn about 7,200 + 6,000 = 13,200 points a year. At up to 1:1, that is up to 13,200 airline miles, enough for a meaningful award redemption on many routes.

Who should get it, and who shouldn’t
Get it if you fly several times a year, already collect miles with one of HSBC’s airline partners, and want lounge access you do not have to earn each quarter.
Skip it if you travel rarely or prefer cashback. Without travel redemptions, the 2 points per ₹100 base rate and ₹4,999 fee make it hard to justify.
