SalarySe is a fintech platform for salaried employees. Its listing mentions salary advances and high-return FDs, but this offer is for its lifetime-free UPI credit card, so that is what we review here. It is a credit line you use through UPI: you get an instant virtual card after approval and pay at any QR code without needing a physical card.
Credit card or salary advance?
A salary advance lets you draw part of your upcoming pay early, while a credit card gives you a revolving limit to spend and repay each month. The SalarySe offer details, fees and rewards here all relate to the credit card, so treat it as a UPI credit card first. If you are interested in salary advances, check what SalarySe offers through your employer separately.
How the rewards work
| Where you spend | Points | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| SalarySe UPI spends on the 1st and last day of every month | 25 points per ₹100 | Up to 3,750 points (virtual card) |
| SalarySe UPI, online and offline spends once the monthly bill exceeds ₹20,000 | 10 points per ₹100 | Not stated |
| SalarySe UPI, online and offline spends below ₹20,000 a month | 5 points per ₹100 | Not stated |
| Spends through other UPI apps | 1 point (SCoin) per ₹100 | Not stated |
Good to know: the offer does not say what a reward point is worth in rupees, so compare redemption options in the app before chasing the salary-day bonus. Rewards are subject to program conditions.
Using the salary-day bonus
The 25-points rate applies on just two days a month: the 1st and the last day. If you plan big monthly payments, such as groceries, school fees through UPI or a bill, for those days, you can earn up to 3,750 points on the virtual card variant, which equals ₹15,000 of salary-day spending. Pay through the SalarySe app itself, since other UPI apps earn only 1 point per ₹100.
Other benefits
- Movies: buy one ticket and get one free on BookMyShow, with the free ticket discount capped at ₹500, once a calendar month. Valid till 31 October 2026.
- Instant virtual card after approval, with fully online onboarding.
- No fees: no joining or renewal fee, ever.
Things to watch
- The salary-day bonus is capped at 3,750 points on the virtual card variant, so very large salary-day spends won’t keep earning 25x.
- Paying through Google Pay, PhonePe or other UPI apps earns only 1 point per ₹100.
- A UPI credit line is still credit: pay the full bill by the due date to avoid interest and protect your score.

Who should get it, and who shouldn’t
Get it if you are salaried, pay mostly by UPI and spend ₹20,000 or more a month, so you reach the 10-point rate. It costs nothing to keep.
Skip it if you are self-employed, as only salaried applicants qualify, or if you want clear cashback rather than points with an unstated value.
