The PNB Zaggle Twin Credit Card gives you two cards, one RuPay and one Visa, on a single account with a shared credit limit. Use the RuPay card for UPI payments and the Visa card where RuPay isn’t accepted, including abroad. For a ₹499 + GST fee, it packs in lounge visits, quarterly vouchers, OTT subscriptions and memberships.
How the rewards work
Both cards earn 10 reward points for every ₹300 spent on eligible transactions. Each point is worth ₹0.25, so that is ₹2.50 per ₹300, or about 0.83%. The real value of this card lies in the benefits below rather than the base rate.
RuPay card benefits
| MakeMyTrip voucher | ₹1,500 every quarter |
|---|---|
| Domestic airport lounges | 2 visits a quarter |
| International lounges | 2 visits a year |
| OTT | 12-month subscription covering JioHotstar and Amazon Prime Video |
| Movies | Buy one, get one on BookMyShow, up to ₹250, once a quarter |
| Memberships | 3-month Swiggy One and 3-month Cult.Fit + Cure.Fit Live, once a year |
| Shopping vouchers | ₹250 Myntra and ₹250 Flipkart, each once a quarter |
| Rides | ₹100 Ola/Uber voucher once a quarter |
Visa card benefits
| Travel | Up to 15% off ixigo flights and hotels, once a month, capped at ₹1,200 |
|---|---|
| Railway lounges | 2 visits a quarter on ₹30,000 spend in the previous quarter |
| Welcome | ₹250 voucher on first transaction (Amazon, Swiggy, Zomato or Flipkart) |
| Jewellery | ₹250 off silver over ₹2,500 and 1.5% off gold over ₹20,000 at GRT Jewellers |
What the vouchers are worth
Counting only the recurring vouchers on the RuPay card, the MakeMyTrip (₹6,000), Myntra (₹1,000), Flipkart (₹1,000) and Ola/Uber (₹400) vouchers add up to ₹8,400 a year, before lounges, OTT and memberships. That is many times the ₹499 fee, provided you actually use them.
Things to watch
- The best perks sit on the RuPay card, while ixigo discounts, railway lounges and the welcome voucher are on the Visa card. Keep track of which card to use where.
- Both cards share one limit, so spending on one reduces what is available on the other.
- Many vouchers are quarterly or yearly; set reminders so they don’t lapse unused.
- Railway lounge visits on the Visa card need ₹30,000 of spending in the previous quarter.
